Parks and Facilities

Willow Creek Park is a multi-use park located in south Kimball. State Highway 15 borders the park to the west, the BNSF train tracks border to the north and Maine Prairie township makes up the rest of the border. The park totals 22.5 acres and offers the following amenities:


  • City of Kimball baseball field. Maintained by the Kimball Express Town Team.
  • Lions Picnic Shelters. Two fully enclosed picnic shelters with kitchen areas. Requires a $50 deposit. Call City Hall for more information.
  • Lighted Hockey/Broomball/Volleyball rink.
  • Horseshoe pits
  • Children’s Playground
  • Nature Trails and picnic areas
  • Willow Creek. A trout stream which runs the length of the park which is regularly stocked with Brown Trout by the DNR and also maintains some natural reproduction.
